Campus Hiring from 4 different perspectives

1. Creating Test Assessment

1. We have the option to create a test assessment with different sections like Aptitude and Coding
2. Xobin has a repo of 1.25 Lac questions under the Aptitude section under Easy, Medium and High difficulty levels. Here is the recommendation based the Xobin's experience.

1. For IIT kind of premier institutions, medium and high are recommended
2. For AHM Institutions that we are going a combination of easy and medium will be good

3. For the coding section, we have the flexibility to choose from different languages - Java, Python, C, C++, JavaScript etc. They have the option to change the language for each question as well.
4. We can pick and select questions from different categories with a randomization option 
5. We can define a pass mark say 50% and sort the candidates based on the highest score to pick the top x. 

6. Here is what I would recommend having with two sections with 45 mins each totalling 1.5 hours. 

1. Aptitude Section - 45 mins. For Randomization, questions will be selected at the rate of 1:10 randomization with the right combination of easy, medium and high-difficulty levels

• 15 Case Study Puzzle
2. Coding Section - 45 mins with language choices Java, C, C++, Python

• 2 Easy 
• 1 Medium 

 

2. Share the test with candidates
• A customized interface with our logo will be created - say (https://intuitive.xobin.. )
• Individual email - NA for Intuitive
• Share open Link TPO with start and end date and time - Best bet for us
• Bulk invite if you have the name and email id of the candidate. The candidate will get an email with the link.

 

3. Test Interface 
• We can choose what information the candidate needs to give at the time of registration including CGPA, Resume, Photo Id, Phone number
• The screen is not recorded but for coding keystrokes are recorded, and replay is available
• useful for lateral hiring tests to assess the candidate based on the approach even if the output is not achieved. 
• Video is recorded
• Audio is not recorded as per some ongoing cases in India against such online proctored tests.

 

4. Reports
• The report is generated within 5 to 10 seconds of completing the test
• Upto last 200 tests can be available on the dashboard itself
• We can select top 30 out of 200 students or those who scored above 80% and take them through JD, Technical Test and HR rounds. This will save lots of our time. 
• These reports can help us assess where each college students stand from different colleges we worked with the past.

• As a pilot we wanted to start with 1000 users and since it was Ideas2IT Gayathri’s reference, they were open to giving 5 to 10% discount. 
• Finally with negotiations we settled for 78000 + Taxes for 1000 users with 2 months validity 

• Users / Authentication:  

• Xobin account is registered with my email id 1 and email id 2 as admin. 
• 1 more user can be added as an observer or admin as per our plan 

• Tests Planned: 

• Two sections with Aptitude Section - 45 mins and Coding 45 mins 
• The Aptitude section was been updated with a pool of 220 questions, the coding section with a total of  36 questions all ranging from easy medium and hard. Aptitude was a combination of mechanical problebs, anaytical, puzzles, comprehension etc 
• Each candidate will get 22 aptitude and 3 coding questions to solve in 90 minutes (45 mins for each section). 
• We have kept 40% as the qualifying criteria with the combined percentage from Aptitude and Coding. If we had kept 75%, we would have got only 2 from DDU and none from Charusat.
