Learnings from Aarti - Wardrobe Orphans

What can you do with your wardrobe orphans?

🤔Imagine buying clothes because they are the current fashion trend, only to realize later that the trend is gone. Now, what do you do with those clothes?

Fashion trends sound exciting. They are a great way to refresh your wardrobe, try something new, or experiment.✨

But are they reliable in the long run?🏃

They make you feel stylish for a short period, and then...they become Wardrobe Orphans, clothes you don't want to touch because they no longer serve you or make you truly happy.

Wardrobe orphans are items in your closet that you don't like to wear or that don't fit your personal style.💡

So what should you do? Well, throw them away! 🚮

Just kidding! 😅

Here are a few ways you can utilize the wardrobe pieces that don't serve you:👔

  • First, determine the pieces that don't fit well. Put them for alterations or adjustments to make them work.
  • Use wardrobe orphans as the centerpiece of new outfits. Combine them with newer items to create cohesive and stylish looks.
  • Transform orphans into something new, like turning a long skirt into a dress or an oversized shirt into a trendy crop top.
  • Be creative with accessories. Use accessories like belts, scarves, or jewelry to give old items a new lease on life.

💡By rethinking and reintegrating wardrobe orphans, you can enhance your wardrobe's versatility and discover new looks without always purchasing new items. This approach helps you make the most of what you already own and fosters a more sustainable and creative approach to fashion.  👚

Save both your time⏱️ and your money💸!
